I am still on my quest to clean the freezer!
I have never made beef stroganoff with anything other than steak, I think this will be easy and tasty!
Crockpot Beef Stroganoff - STOCKPILING MOMS™
When we buy beef, we usually buy 1/4-1/2 beef at a time. Lots of meat. The hamburger is gone right away, while these roasts get lost on the bottom of the freezer.....

Ryan Klein bought a package of 20 brats last summer....I have never really done much with brats other than just eat them with ketchup. Really feeling like a chef with this one ;)

Left over brisket with GLUTEN FREE ONION RINGS!
I can not tell you the last time I had an onion ring was. Ryan thinks they may be a PITA to make, and he may be right, but I'm giving this a shot!
In my quest to empty the freezer, we are dining on elk. If you don't have an elk roast lying around I think it would work with any type of roast ;)
Let's be honest, Creamy Beef and Shells is a fancy name for hamburger hot dish. And, at our house it will actually be called Creamy Beef and Elbows.
I am a sucker for meatloaf. Good meatloafs. I hear so many stories or see shows where kids dread meatloaf. I honestly can't even...
So, this week the menu is odd for my regular menu. We are doing a little detoxing around here and it is not interesting enough to explain, but chicken, cod, flounder, shrimp, turkey are on the menu. I will be altering these to make sure they fit with our detox but here are the basic recipes I'm using. I am still trying to clean out the freezer too and I have a lot of ground turkey, chicken legs and cod. The flounder will be something new. Wish me luck. The kids may eat some of this but I might be making a tater tot hotdish to supplement them ;) I hope you enjoy one!
I love buffalo sauce, so am pretty excited for these!

I love cod. We have a chili lime seasoning here that we like to use on it and I suspect that will be thrown on as well.
It's the start of another week! Time to share what our household will be enjoying this week! Some new ones for us this week!!
The kids are apprehensive....I am hopeful :) Try to say this 5 times fast......

So, I have been doing Recipe of the Week for a long time, but, I am stepping it up a notch! I am going to post what I am cooking for the week because menu planning works well for me. I know what's going to happen, I am going to get messages after people see this and they will say "I thought you were gluten free?" or "I thought you ate healthier than this?" I am gluten free, everyone in my household HAS to be, except Ryan Klein, but he is fortunate that we are all so gluten free that he has to be while at home as well. When he is not at home he can be gluten infested, because, remember, we all make our own choices. I am never gluten infested, on purpose, because when I am, everyone in my house suffers because I am SICK. I digress. Also, I commonly do make changes to my recipes. It is very rare I make a recipe as is. So, I will do a lot of substitutions but, not everyone is into what I am into, so if you want to make substitutions, y'all are on your own ;) Here are my weekly recipes....
